Chapelle des Oblats

Description

This chapel was rebuilt in its current configuration between 1695 and 1701 on the grounds of a convent of Our Lady of Mount Carmel. Both the blueprints and the decoration were conceived by Thomas Veyrier. The facade was redesigned by Laurent Vallon in 1697. The Chapelle des Oblats has an elliptical dome which forms the shape of a latin cross, accentuating the internal height of the building.
