Awesome hands-on fun house!

I can't say enough about how awesome this place is. It isn't just a science center or a museum...it is a fun house! The kids cheer when I tell them we may return. From the visitor-controlled water fountain art to the living room-sized elevator, we love it! The boys would stay at the water table all day long where they can play with water currents, creating dams and lakes until the water pressure breaks the dam and they try something new. Our daughter enjoyed identifying the colors she could separate out of a simple leaf and trying some of the physics activities. I have never seen anything like this and would strongly encourage anyone visiting Albuquerque who ever wondered about erosion and land forms, electricity, water, gravity, computer binary code, or so much more to visit Explora. They have what must be the world's largest "mousetrap" marble contraption, dozens of mind-boggling activities and illusions, live animals, craft activities, giant bubble table, aerial bicycling, computer-generated art that is based on your hand pattern and heat, and just one activity table after another. It is like the ultimate Montesorri hands-on experience for kids from 2 to 102 years old. Get to Albuquerque and visit what must be the most creative hands-on learning place in the world!
