Piccolo Mondo Italian Restaurant, Arlington

This wonderful Italian restaurant has received many awards over the past 15 years including D Magazine's 'Best Restaurants in America', Zagat's 'Best Italian in the Metroplex' and the 'Taste of Arlington People's Choice award'. The lighting is soft and subdued, and music from the baby grand piano is soothing. Specialty pasta dishes include spaghetti bolognese, linguini with clam sauce and delicate baked manicotti. Other true Italian delights are the eggplant parmigiana, the veal scaloppine alla parmigiana and the pollo alla griglia(grilled chicken). Heavenly desserts include cheesecake, cannoli and tiramisu.
