A Nightmare Hotel
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 20/11/2006
My family and I have been fortunate enough to stay in nice hotels wherever it may be that we are in the world. I have never felt like I needed to worry about security issues at these hotels even in Spain. During our stay at the hotel a very expensive piece of jewelry was stolen from our room. For the first couple of nights the hotel gave us a complete run around about even investigating and documenting it. Then they took up hours of our time with questioning and filing of a police report. On top of that they will not return any of our calls from the states concerning what happened. Finaly, we have filed an official complaint with the corporate office. The worst part is that they can tell from the key lock that someone was in our room for a short time period when the watch went missing. The least a hotel like this could do is give us the consideration of taking this matter seriously.
