Newcastle Beach Park, a wonderful 29-acre area is popular with families. It should probably be better known than it is, but as a result of its obscurity, its relatively few visitors have it largely to themselves. In addition to its waterfront swimming and fishing areas, it has truly beautiful paths that wind through a broad range of rare wildlife and flora. It is everything a park should be with something for everyone to enjoy.
