Zu Mir oder Zu Dir, Berlin

Right around the corner from the Eberswalderstrasse station (i.e. Prenzlauerberg Party Central), Zu Mir oder Zu Dir is a place to lounge with friends over some beers. A mix of furniture from the 70’s and 80’s gives it a retro feel, although overall it isn’t exactly a blast-to-the-past. On most nights you’ll hear a mix of funk and soul, but weekends typically lean more towards electro and dancier beats. One big drawback is the miniscule bar, which makes drink ordering a chore during the busier hours. The key here is to arrive early enough to claim some of their cushy seats. - Nicolas Shepherd
