Ristorante Pizzeria La Paranza, Bologna

Not far from Porta Lame and a few minutes' from the station, Ristoranta la Paranza offers fish-based dishes and pizzas cooked in a wood-fired oven, all served in a friendly, cordial atmosphere.The decor is in nautical style, adorned with ceramics from Vietri. The room is large and welcoming. Some of the characteristic dishes include: Scioliatelle alla Paranza, Schiaffoni with lobster, squid alla Luciana, Mediterranean fried platter and Salted Sea-Bass. Among the homemade desserts are the Limoncello Babà, the famous Neapolitan puff pastry doused in the traditional Neapolitan alcohol. The Limoncello produced by craftsmen is excellent. Wines are from Avellino, just outside Naples.
