Description
Beginning hikers are in luck at the Anza-Borrego Desert State Park. Try this popular trail, a simple loop lasting one-half mile. At the head of the trail, a dispenser offers a brochure, which explains various features displayed along the route. Geological highlights are plentiful, such as granite rocks. An earthquake fault line is also visible. The trail is fairly short, easy to follow, and ideal for a day trip for nature-lovers.
