Description

Stunningly stylish, Havana attracts a well dressed crowd of diners. Incredibly clean, cream decor with dark wood and beautifully set tables, this restaurant is not for those who want fast food. The front serves as a cafe bar during the day and a cocktail lounge at night. Breakfasts have recently been added to the menu and there are several lovingly prepared lunches on offer. An enticing cafe style menu is a little less pricey. Dinner is a bit more expensive, but worth it.

Magical dinning experiance
By ,
I can only describe our visit to Havana as outstanding. High Quality Service with a smile (very Professional), Food to die for the ambiance just magical. If you did not know better you would think your not in Brighton but somewhere exotic. WOW can not wait to return....

An Oasis in amongst the hustle and bustle of Brighton
By ,
I actually stumbled across this place by accident. Having travelled down to Brighton with a girlfriend, (now ex) to go to the World Famous Oyster Bar only to be told that, "they had run out of oysters" ????!!!! We subsequently trawled the streets for a decent looking restaurant, (seemingly impossible in Brighton during a hot summers evening). After having to wait 3/4 of an hour we finally had a table and the chance of some food. From the word go, the restaurant was great, the ambience, the staff, the decor and especially the food. Everything was well presented and tasted great. the cocktails were brilliant, hic. I'm a fussy sod so if it pleased me I'm sure it will please a lot of people. If I do return back to Brighton sometime I would definately go there again. Mike

a good reason worth dressing up for: enjoy
By ,
An impressive, possibly over elaborate, decor with a slightly pretentious outlook stands this restaurant as place made for putting that new dress into action. The food was delicious and very well presented, made even more enjoyable by the extremely polite and charming waitress who served. I went with a group and had a really enjoyable time (not so if on a budget). The one draw back was at times i felt overwhelmed by what appeared to be a large dining area. For moments one was aware that we were not alone; something i would want were it to be dinner for two. On the whole, however, a good night out, just be aware of the Chanel couple thinking they're it!

Never again!
By ,
The pavement seating would be a nice idea, if the streets weren't so busy around peak times, people are constantly rushing past the tables which doesnt give a relaxed atmostphere. The food was ok, the chips were slightly odd, greasy, thick and you only get about 8 on your plate. Not good for a filling meal. The staff are nice but not quite as 'with it' as you'd expect for the prices they are charging.

Pretentious??? Us????
By ,
food is great, service is slimey yet totally superior ... we ordered a quite expensive bottle of wine only to have a MUCH more expensive bottle brought to our table already opened ... nuh huh ... you only do that if you've made a mistake ... go by all means and enjoy the food, just watch for the hole in the wallet and the frosty crap service.
