The Boeremet (Farmers' Market), Brussels

Anderlecht is blessed with two fantastic markets, both at the Abbatoirs D'Anderlecht - the Anderlecht Markets are on every Friday, Saturday and Sunday and have a vast range of produce. A recently launched market, the Boeremet, is a farmers' market which focuses on selling the best produce - here you will find the finest cuts of meat, the freshest fruit and vegetables - all with an emphasis on local growing, using eco-friendly methods. To add to the experience, there is a live music and performers that you can enjoy while you shop. The Boeremet occurs on the first and third Thursday of every month; free parking is available within walking distance of the abbatoirs.
