Description
Opened in 1959, the Hipódromo La Rinconada is one of the most modern buildings of its kind on the continent. Every weekend, 12 thoroughbred races take place that are viewed by spectators, television viewers and radio listeners across the country. Enthusiasts are able place bets using special machines up and down the country. The Hippodrome also hosts many other attractions such as El Poliedro and the Museo de Artes Visuales Alejandro Otero. Also on the grounds are a number of cafés, bars and art exhibitions that visitors can enjoy.
