Parque Los Caobos
Description
This park is an addition to an area where the most important cultural complexes of the city are located, such as the Fine Arts and Science Museums, the National Art Gallery, the Teresa Carreño Cultural Complex and the "Ateneo" theatre. It is one of the oldest parks in the capital and is home to centenary trees. It is a perfect place for outings, be it for exercise nuts, couples or families whose children don't want to miss the live performances organized for them on weekends. When you go to visit the nearby museums, include a relaxing walk through "Parque Los Caobos." If it's December, the huge open-air manger scenes are worth seeing.
