Makuhari Messe, Chiba-shi

Spread over a vast area in the Chiba city, a few miles outside of Tokyo, the Makuhari Messe stands majestically. This convention center comprises two exhibition halls, conference halls and the Makuhari Event Hall. There are also restaurants on its premises that provide sumptuous global and local traditional cuisines. The exhibition halls, total eleven, are clubbed in groups. Thus exhibition halls 1-8, giving a total floor space of 99,270 square meters, are on one side of the massive complex, and halls 9-11, giving floor space of 33,427 square meters, are on another side. The Makuhai Event Hall, which gives a space of 15,522 square meters, has been the venue for several prominent concerts, including the Live Earth concert. For more information please see the website.
