Gem of a hotel close to Wrigley Field

This hotel was recommended by a local to me when we were on a road trip in 2000. We planned a 3 day stay in Chicago to take in the sights and a Cubs game as part of our trip.
The hotel staff were very friendly, the room was clean, comfortable and spacious with a nice sitting area. It's situated in a nice neighbourhood with many conveniences within a short walking distance. You are not right in the heart of downtown Chicago, but it is quieter here and access to downtown via the "EL" or driving was not at all difficult and doesn't take long at all.
What this hotel is close to, if you are a Cubs fan, is Wrigley Field. This made our Cubs game a fantastic experience as we only had a short walk and we were there. Regardless of whether you are a Cubs or even baseball fan, Wrigley Field is a must see when you are in Chicago.
We enjoyed our stay here thoroughly and would stay again without hesitation. Parking is in a parkade right next to the hotel, and the rates are much more reasonable than hotels right downtown. The rates of the hotel itself were also very reasonable.
