The spacious terrace at the French Quarter overlooks the street below, making it an ideal place to enjoy the warm Cozumel evenings and the finest Louisiana cooking. If the weather isn't cooperating, head indoors to the air-conditioned dining room and sit at the huge bar or at one of the tables alongside wall murals depicting life in New Orleans. Start your "Bayou Bonanza" with some Cajun Caribbean Chicken Tenders or the Fried Crawdaddy Tails. There is always a pot of gumbo going. An assortment of wines, beers and liquors are also available.
While the food and atmosphere are good. We were charged a 10% tax on top of our bill. This is illegal, they are supposed to have all taxes built into the menu prices by Mexican law. When we complained about this, the owner lied to us and said it was a new tax by the government. Please be double check your bill!!!

Just returned from our trip to Cozumel had dinner twice at The French Quarter, grilled fish one night and baby back ribs the second time and both were excellent. (I'm a very picky eater and do not care for a lot of the food in Mexico but this was exceptionally good).
