great dive shop

Three of us (my daughter, wife and I) got our certification with Martin and had a great experience. If you are considering getting certified, do not even think about starting in your local pool. You may well start hating scuba before doing it what nearly happened to us. Read the PADI book and head for Cozumel. You will get one on one or one on two attention of the instructor and while learning already start admiring beautiful Cozumel sealife instead of the pool's tile. If you stay at any hotel close to the international pier it is easy to use their offer of free shore dives. We enjoyed that part a lot as we practiced our skills and underwater photography. They also throw in free use of the equipment which is a good thing for a new diver undecided whether to buy or not. Their boats are fast and first dives start at 7:30 and return around noon so there is plenty of time for other activities. There is no more than 10-12 divers on a boat. Frequently 7-8. They will take you to a location of your choice if you have preferences. I recently dove in Belize and Roatan. Dive with Martin and Cozumel is still my number one.
