Take your camera and lots of film; the Arboretum is a vacation for your eyes!
In the spring, hundreds of thousands of bulbs bloom in progression as "Dallas Blooms" creates an uncomparable artist's palette of color. Mix in azaleas and other spring-blooming trees and shrubs of all varieties, and you can get lost in the color!
In autumn, the chrysanthemum display will knock your socks off as will the vignettes provided for the perfect family photo! Getting new ideas for my home garden is one of the benefits.
I've visited the Arboretum (a
3-hour drive for more than 10 years, and have only been disappointed when *I've* shown up too early for springtime.
