Shangri-La Hotel, Dubai

I was in Dubai on 30th July 2009 for 7 nights. The hotel was out of this world. People so polite.Doors open for you all the time. Well the hotel was like a 6 star hotel. Absolutely spotlessly clean.. you could eat of the mabel floors. Staff always cleaning. Rooms excellent.fruit and water in t your rooms everyday. Food in the hotel excellent..the facilities in the hotel was 10 out of 10. DON'T bring any toiletries at all...(JUST SUN CREAM) towels, slipper and robes provided. There's Sauna, steam room, jacuzi,shower rooms and a gym and squash court on sight and outside pools and bar. Beautiful shower gels always provided, hairdriers and brushes and combes provided. Eating out...loades of places like TGI friday, Nandos..yes Nandos is there.lol. Pizza Hut, KFC of course and many well know resturants on the door step. Shuttle bus on hand to take you to the Fantasic Malls..ie Dubai Mall and the Emirate Mall designer clothes cost next to nothing. ONLY DOWNSIDE..Lot of work at moment on roads. Don't hear it in hotel. The beautiful beeches are out of this world. Anyway enjoy the experience,,good holiday.. you won't regret it. oh if you are a smoker buy buy buy//400 cigs cost only £14.00. 200 cigs cost £7.43..cnt get better even though i don't agree with smoking.

This hotel was absolutely fantastic to stay at. The service is impeccable, and the staff are very friendly. The pool was lovely, and so were the Spa facilities. I really enjoyed the stay, and the only thing is that although its slightly our of town, taxis are easily and readily available, and its only a short ride to where everything is!
Would definetly go back!
