Description

This four-star ultra-minimalist establishment has lots of discreet lighting features, long curving interior walls and bold primary colors. The architect and owner, Andrew Doolan has created something of a contemporary design and a unique place to stay in Edinburgh. Attention is paid to the smallest detail, from the warm and welcoming reception hues to the crisp sheets and excellent bedroom facilities. The Point Restaurant serves healthy straightforward fare and there is ale and art on tap in the Monboddo Bar.

The service in this hotel ranges from the mildly unimpressive to the absolutely dire. And it's certainly not as cool as it thinks it is...
