Brodie Castle, Forres

Brodie castle is just off the A96 near Forres, and is well worth a visit, even if it is just for the marvellous daffodil display in the Spring. The castle has ornate battlements and was extended in the 17th and 18th centuries. Inside the there is a notable art collection, some very fine furniture, and classic plaster ceilings. Outside in the grounds there are woodland walks and wildlife watching hides, beside the large pond. Check website for timings that are seasonal.
