A pleased client for decades
By ,
I have been going to Irelands Inn for decades and stayed in every type of room. I don't know if Mr. Ireland is still there because I have not gone back since my wife passed away. We loved to go in June right after school let out and bake in the sun or swim in the warm, gentle ocean until noon, have lunch, rest, go to the malls, movies, and dining out. The only part that was not good was that our daughter could not find enough young friends at the times we would go. If you are taking children, they are welcome, but you may end up being their sole friends if no other kids show up. I am not sure where I would take children nowadays as there are more places, but on our last Florida vacation we took a Royal Caribbean Cruise and that worked out better. Still, everything else being equal, this is a good choice for many people.

Amaizing Staff and Rooms
By ,
My family and i stayed at Irelands Inn for 3 nights and had a wonderful time. We had such a great time we extended our stay. Not only was the staff wonderful but we also got to observe a beautiful wedding directly on the beach. My wife and I met the owners and they were very helpful in directing us in the fun and exciting places to go in Ft. Lauderdale. I personally liked their resturants that serve the highest quality in food for the right price. I stayed in the main building and had a wonderful view of the beach right out our window. I give Irelands Inn 2 thumbs up, they did an amaizing job to make my family feel at home!

Just a weekend
By ,
We arrived Friday night (early Saturday morning actually) at about 12:30 am and were immediately shown to our room. Oh what a room! Because of the shape of the building (a wavey 'S' shape) every room must have an awesome view, ours however, was spectacular as one full side of our room and a 1/4 of another side (we were in an end room) was entirely made up of glass! The view was spectacular.
The room was SPACIOUS. An entire kitchen (even with a dishwasher!)! A bathroom as well as a vanity room! Large and comfortable dining table w/chairs. Large dresser and two firm and comfortable beds. A sitting area with comfy couch, chair and end table and top it all off with a desk (with data port) and chair. The room was spotless. The breakfast we had there the next morning was absolutely wonderful. You could sit outside but we chose to eat inside and it was oh so comfortable and elegant. The waitstaff (all men as far as I could see) was fabulous, courteous and quick. The food itself was wonderful with just a taste of Ireland. The beach was just wonderful and there was always a gentleman there to set up your beach chair (umbrella if you wanted) and even to wipe it off before you sat down! The pool was immaculate (especially if you looked across the road at that pool)and spacious. This is a hotel that I would return to again and again. It sits a bit lower than the surronding buidlings and you must look for it just a bit to see it sitting there but it is DEFINITELY worth hunting out. Thank you for a beautiful 36 hours for my husband, daugther and myself - it was so worth it!!
