Firstly the drinks are great and a reasonable price and the cover charge is only to make sure you spend at least 1000 yen on drinks.
I found the atmosphere a little unusual. On the dancefloor often a couple of guys would dance and everyone would stand in a circle. You had to watch...
There were places to sit and chat and apart from the odd guy trying to pick up a girl it was a relaxed friendly atmosphere. Good place to take or meet foreigners or Japanese.
