Great Hotel
By Mark P, 06/06/2005
The Conrad had excellent service, and if you can get a north facing room, the view is great of the harbor. The staff was kind, the concierge was knowledgeable and helpful, and the subway is not far away, neither is the Peak Tram and the ferry terminals.

at least try their Sunday Brunch buffet at Nicolini
By A Yahoo! Contributor, 06/06/2005
This is one of the many top rated luxury hotels in HK (HK Island side). Although not located at the major major shopping districts like Causeway Bay or Tsim Sha Tsui (Hotel Conrad is located at Admiralty, a combincation of business and up-scale shopping district) it's a super awesome hotel to stay at. It's connected to a very nice shopping mall (Pacific Plaza) and subway (MTR) which can take you to Causeway Bay in less than 10 mins. It's very expansive but definitely worth it for the experience. And if you'are not up for the 300+ USD rate, please at least try their Sunday Brunch buffet at the Nicolini resturant. It's a MUST! Absolutely the best I have ever had and still remember after 2 years...all you can eat high quality toro sashimi (cut upon order), seafood, prime rib, pan seared foie gras, fancy chinese dishes, hand made pasta, dim sum, 15+ beautiful deserts, etc etc...plus main courses you can choose from menu (included in fix buffet price). Oh, very warm and attentive servers too!

Expensive but worth it if you got the bucks
By Robby, 06/06/2005
This is one of the top hotels on the Hong Kong island side of Hong Kong. It is located in a very convenient and central location, with the MTR (subway) station directly connected to it. The rooms were clean and spacious, and the service is impeccable. The best thing about this hotel is its Sunday brunch/lunch buffet. It is about $100 per person, but it is absolutely the biggest and best buffet on earth, serving everything from oysters to sushi to prime rib to all kinds of international cuisine. Even if you don't stay at the hotel, you should check out the buffet.
