Royal Grove Hotel, Honolulu

I liked that it was centrally located near the Hilton. The beach was only two blocks away as were the bus stops. Zoo/park is walking distance too. A full-size grocery store is only a few blocks away and a tiny health food store is on the corner. The desk staff was generally helpful, housekeeping did a good job. My room was bigger and quieter than another I had in a fancy hotel, not as "pretty" - but everything worked. They are a little quirky, they provide dishes but not dishsoap. I travel solo and needed a good deal - that's what I gotin Oct 2004. I'll return in 2005.
