Hurghada, Egypt

Once an isolated and modest fishing village, Hurghada has metamorphosed into a sprawling collection of more than a hundred hotels, and is today Egypt's most popular resort destination. Despite its popularity however, Hurghada is a frightful mix of endless construction and environmental degradation, served with a heaping dose of Russian package tourism.
