Tyrolis, Innsbruck

Tyrolis is a small cafe-bar featuring a little garden and located close to the university and the hospital. The most noteworthy thing about this place is that it is one of the earliest breakfast opportunities in the city. On weekends, you can get coffee and Continental or Viennese breakfasts from 5:30 am onwards. The fact that this early breakfast has been reserved for weekends, suggests that it has been introduced for night owls rather than for early birds. Therefore, don't expect fresh, rosy-cheeked people at that early time. More likely, you will encounter people who are having another glass of wine for breakfast. As soon as this crowd leaves, the Tyrolis returns to its usual proceedings with the regular mixed clientele.
