Observer's Inn, Julian

Located just outside of San Diego in the former gold rush town of Julian, near the Cleveland National Forest, this bed and breakfast is famous for its in-hotel observatory. Guests can opt for a Sky Tour led by a knowledgeable guide with the use of research-grade telescopes, or may choose to bring their own equipment to observe with. Rooms are comfortable and well-appointed with in-suite bathrooms. Continental breakfasts are available, but for other meals, try the Julian Grille or Romano's Dodge House.
