Skellig Rock Bar (The), Killarney

Traditional meals and music bring in the crowds to The Skellig Rock Bar. Stencilled across one beam inside is the quote, "There are no strangers here. Only friends you have not already met." Staff members certainly seem to make this motto true with friendly, welcoming service. The Skellig really hums almost every night with traditional or pop music. A bar menu with light snacks and entrées is served every day from noon until 9p. In the evening, substantial portions of traditional Irish favourites are served up including grills, steak, salads, soups, and fresh fish. Children can pick from a variety of meat or fish accompanied by chips on their own special menu.
