Horseshoe (The), Killarney

This award winning pub and restaurant has lots of delicious options that step beyond the ordinary. The Horseshoe has a traditional pub look with ample seating. On fine days, you can dine alfresco at the tables just outside the door. Service is prompt and cheerful. With its central location, it is convenient and a happening place to eat. The menu caters for almost all tastes. There is a great emphasis on grills and seafood, but even vegetarians will find something tempting. Choices include Irish stew, chicken satay, fish platter, barbecued ribs, mussels in garlic butter, and aubergine vegetable bake. Prices are perhaps a bit above the norm for a pub, but then so are the choices.
