I've chosen this property for my summer vacations year after year. It's beautiful, the pool is fabulous and the staff is top notch. As a meeting planner for my company we have returned twice and been fully satisfied. Our programs ran seamlessly and the sales and conference service managers are very professional and met all of our needs.

Great hotel with really nice rooms & an amazing setting. Nice beach with really good waves for body-surfing. Quite a few restaurants & they are all good, though better food can be found around the island. Great base for exploring the Island, as weather on south side is better than Princeville & nothing (waimea canyan, etc is too far a drive)

We where married here 7 years ago, it is the perfect wedding location! The pictures we have are the most beautiful I have ever seen! Thank you!

The hotel is huge, and crowds can be maddening and noisy, but, the quality of the accommodation is great and the location is pleasant with a nice beach. One of the best buffets in Kauai, too.

This hotel is too big and too expensive. The food is below average. There are better restaurants in the area that have fresher fish and know how to prepare it. The lobby is a lawsuit waiting to happen and they know it. My daughter-in-law(3 months pregnant) and her 1.5 year old slipped on the wet tile and laid on the ground crying within plain view of the concierge and the front dest and were totally ignored. Don't go here if you have small children, pregnant wives or elderly family.

By far the best accomodations on the island. First time as a young couple, we had a blast. The bars, (Stevensons Library is beautiful, pool tables to boot), to the pool, still one of the best in the world, (complete with water slide), the resturants (Tidepools and Dantes), all of it is amazing. The second/third time we went with children, our love for this amazing hotel grew. They love the pool and the lagoon. The beach is nice but who needs it with all the landscaping that is around. I love the hammocks all around. The rooms are great, with marble bathrooms, open and airy balconies. The lobby and all rooms of the hotel just say welcome with the Hawaiian spirt. You may not want to ever leave, last time we stayed put and never even used our rental car.

Best value for the money if you want class and service. And the pool is excellet for families. Kauai is laid-back and not for the Las Vegas types who want action. If you want that go to Waikiki.

This hotel is fabulous. It is nice without being too posh. The rooms are comfortable and the pool is fantastic. Poipu Bay golf course is challenging, yet easily playable by the average golfer. I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone.
