Collegium Novum, Krakow

This neo Gothic building was built after the design of Feliks Ksiezarski to replace the former academic boarding schools. The building now contains the Rector's rooms and those of other prominant professors. The facade of the building is decorated by the crests of the Jagiellonian University and its most outstanding benefactors. Famous former students include Mikolaj Kopernik, Jan Sobieski III and John Paul II.
