Hooters Casino Hotel, Las Vegas

Located next to Tropicana and across from the MGM Grand it is worth the low rate. smaller than average gaming area with minimum 2 dollar tables. Good food and good size rooms. Decent pool area as well. Also convenient is the fact that your room is not 2 miles from the front of the casino like elsewhere. Nothing major to see but excellent for going to Vegas on a budget. Ive had great service here, friendly staff. Four different theme restaurants and small yet useful gift shop. Enjoyable shows as well. A lot of walking if you plan on seeing the strip, so a rental car or use of the monorail is a good idea.

enjoyed our stay, still like to play with coins, and san remo has no ticket machines to be found. food was good, rooms could be a little more udated, but who stays in them for any time. all in all a very nice place

Hotel San Remo is not a glamourous hotel. In fact it's dirty and outdated. But the location is excellent, close to the airport and the major south strip hotels. The 24 hour restaurant also comes in handy. By the way, this is the second consecutive year we've stayed here and each time found our experience to be good. Just don't expect the Ritz.

The San Remo is to put it simply, a dirty, smelly, and old hotel. The conditions were substandard, with little regard for basic hygiene. I can deal with the feel of an older hotel, but this hotel didn't even pretend to try. The hallway carpet was smelly and old, the ceilings held huge water marks, and the wallpaper was yellowing and peeling. Travelocity really does a disservice to their customers giving this hotel a 3 star rating. The stench in our rooms was so repugnant we left 6 hours after arrival, the only reason we stayed that long is we waited for daybreak before we left.

The place was dirty and everything smelled of smoke. There was plaster broken off the walls and our room had hundreds of moths in it. The restaurants were also dirty and the food was only acceptable at best. Its time to sell to a developer and watch this place be turned into dust.

The heater, phone, and toilet in my room were all broken. After they were repaired, I went to their restaurant for dinner. Upon returning to my room after dinner, the key wouldn't work. The front desk staff made me wait through the check-in line (again), before they would help me. I will never go back here again.
