Gondola Rides at the Venetian, Las Vegas

Brilliant piece of snobbery. Just hire the gondola for you and your beloved. Sit and be serenaded ( not always by a good singer ) and enjoy. It cost me $40 when we went on it a couple of years back. That was for just the 2 of us, not sharing. Did not have the outside gondola ride when we went on it. Only inside. But it was like the rest of Vegas. FUN in capital letters. Oh by the way my wife loved the ride.

Enjoy the vegas streaming video at the following site. This hotel/casino recreates the city of Venice complete with copies of the Doge's Palace, the Campanile and the Rialto Bridge. Gondolas can take you inside the building and on the way you can be serenated for a lot less than in real Venice :-) The canals lead you to - where else - the Grand Canal (upscale and expensive) Shoppes. Inside the complex cobblestone streets and bridges lie under a blue painted sky like the one in Renaissance paintings. Throughout the building you'll find reproductions of famous paitings by Venetian masters like a copy of Veronese's painting "The Apotheosis of Venice". They even kept the same prices as in Venice as the restaurants and shops are all expensive :-) But I liked their casino which is big and well air-conditioned. If you are in Vegas, don't miss the Venetian.

My husband and I went on the indoor gondola ride during our last visit to Vegas. I was a little disappointed at first on the price, but after going on it I learned how well worth it the ride is. We paid for a shared ride and ended up getting the gondola to ourselves. The scenery during the ride is absolutely beautiful. The gondola driver (sorry I can't remember the proper name for them) was very pleasant, and the singing added a wonderful touch. I can honestly say going on the gondola ride is one of the most romantic things I have ever done!

This was very touristy when we went. We went early and only had to wait about 30 min, but later in the day the wait was very long, so go early. Our guy was good - singing along the whole way, but with people hooting at us from the side it was hardly romantic. I mainly felt like I had fallen into a tourist trap.

Each time we have riden the Gondola's it has been a great time. The last time I reserved a Gondola for my son to propose. Reserving a Gondola is not usually done but when I called the Venetian and spoke to the staff they were great about making sure they had a reservation and the experience for my son's and his girlfriend was the best possible.

i loved it! I visited the venetian and the first thing that caught my attention was the gondolas in the canals! How cool is that? A canal indoors! I enjoyed the ride. It was very realxing.The person even sang a song for us!

We were married at the chapel of the bells and spent the rest of our honeymoon in Vegas. It had rained almost all week, but it did clear up and we got our gondola ride outside. Oh so romantic. The gondolier sang us 3 Italian love songs and we kissed under the bridge. The ride could've been a few minutes longer, but we enjoyed it immensely. The picture is pricey, but hey, it is Vegas....
