Lewiston Silo, Lewiston

This restaurant, located inside of a former coal silo at the water's edge, has one of the best views in Lewiston. Eat lunch, dinner or ice cream in covered outdoor seating while gazing at the Lower Niagara River. The restaurant opened in April 1998 in the silo, which had stood vacant for over 55 years. Menu items include typical summer fare, like burgers, Italian sausage and hot dogs. Their signature sandwich, the Silo Haystack, is a rib eye steak topped with melted mozzarella and crispy shredded hash browns. You can also get beef on weck, fish and chips, pulled pork sandwiches and chicken fingers.
