Queen's
Description
This nightclub's name changed from "King's and Queen's" to just "Queen's" when it ceased to be solely a gay/lesbian nightclub. Today, it is frequented by the most diverse range of crowds, but sophisticated apparel is advised to guarantee entry. The new management took over in 1999 and caters to a young but lively crowd. The music played here varies between house and dance music. The professional dancers add a touch of fun to the night as they dance on top of the big columns or on the bar. Tuesdays is Ladies' Night; Thursdays brings a Student Party and Fridays is Drag Queens' Night. The fusion of styles is very dominant here - tiled walls, original lamps, complete with an Asian touch. A metal structure adds a modern touch, as do the big screens and the video-hall. There are plenty of other architectural touches, which you can discover for yourself as the night goes on.
