Criterion Theatre (The)
Description
The Criterion Theatre is a small theater with only 585 seats; a fact belied by the magnificent 1870s facade and enviable theater land location, smack bang in the middle of Piccadilly Circus. There is wheelchair access to the upper circle, where there are two seats reserved for the handicap and others for their companions. Home to the Reduced Shakespeare Company, the theater mainly bills productions by this, "the other RSC", although it also hosts occasional concerts and gigs. Check the website for upcoming shows.
