Jubilee Inn, Looe

Jubilee Inn is both a nice accommodation and nice bars and dining room, situated just a couple of miles from the South Cornish coast, between Looe and Polperro. The historic inn, which dates from the 16th Century, changed its name in 1887 to mark Queen Victoria's 50th year on the throne. Its decor is very traditional, with low-beamed ceilings, open fires and antique prints on the walls. The inn is licensed to hold weddings and civil ceremonies and is a charming inn with a cute garden. Even if you're not staying at the inn make sure you stop by. It has an impressive menu prepared from fresh local produce and specializes in the locally caught fish and seafood. There is also a good selection of home-made food, both traditional and adventurous.
