Bevonshire Lodge Motel, Los Angeles

Get what you pay for. If you are looking for somewhere to stay that is basic, clean and cheap, then this is the place for you.
It was an ideal base for us to use when we visited LA in 1999. Rooms were equiped with a clean private bathroom, a fridge, a telephone and a TV that looked like it was from the early 70's. It did work though. Had a small swimming pool in the centre of the motel surrounded by a high fence and gates that were locked each night. That was a bit of an eyesore. Still we didn't use it and it didn't make any difference to our holiday.
