Uncle Slayton’s takes its name from Texan singer-songwriter James McMurtry’s famous song, Choctaw Bingo, and the love for music does not stop with the name. As one of the premier music venues in the city, Uncle Slayton’s offers an intimate performance venue for artists and bands from all over the Mid-South, as well as some national artists. The cozy concert hall, set in a building that dates back to 1895, afford the audience the chance to enjoy a performance better.
