Description

This former royal residence houses a fantastic collection of paintings (Velázquez, Caravaggio and Goya), sculptures, furniture, tapestries, glassware, gold and silverware, medals, porcelain and musical instruments. It is well worth visiting the rooms decorated by Gasparini as well as the Royal Pharmacy, the Library, and the Royal Armory. King Felipe V commissioned the Italian architect Sabatini to design the palace, and the work was carried out between 1738 and 1770.

Ruling building of half the world

This was an amazing place to visit. Everything was gilded or spectacularly painted. The place is huge. The throne room is surreal, it seems too small for a place to have ruled half the world from. Very cool place.

It needed more facts. For example, if I need to research La Palacio Real, where it is, you don't have the exact adress.

AHHHHHH!!!!!
