Description
This landmark was built in 1906 for Frederick Rindge's private railroad. Malibu Pier is still a site to see and has a lot of California history behind it. The historic landmark is located in the heart of California's surf culture. Surfers from around the world come to Surfrider Beach adjacent to Malibu Pier. There is also a Surf museum, gift shop and diner here. Whale watching and harbor tours coupled with beach activities are a wonderful way to spend time at the Pier. The location has also been used for a number of movies and serials.
