When traveling with children, "The Kite" Museum (in the Nahuatl language, butterfly ) is an ideal place to visit. Opened in 1993 the museum offers a hands-on, interactive, ultra-modern experience, including an IMAX theater. It is divided into five major sections dedicated to discovering the Human Body, Communications, Our World, Expressions and Con-Ciencia (a play on double meanings: "Con-science" to also mean With-science). Workshops, a theater, restaurant and a gift shop are also open to the public.
