Doral Golf Resort and Spa, Miami

Doral's location makes it appealing to those who wish to stay in the resort only. A rental car is definitely a must, and beware that Miami's attractions are a minimum of 20 minutes from the resort. The Villas are across the street from Doral's main resort. You must cross a 4 lane BUSY street to access the services of the Doral resort or take the shuttle - with limited operating times. The overall cleanliness/conditions of the villas was suprisingly low, the most obvious being the filthy carpeting. Doral's reputation as a high-class golf resort is diminished by the location, cleanliness and lack of amenities. I would recommend this resort for serious golfers only who dream of playing the "Blue Monster"

Fantastic resort. I went in December with just my husband on a business trip. I kept telling him (after seeing the resort and all the kid friendly things to do)I wish we had brought our 3 children ages 6, 5, 3. I can't wait to go back in December but this time with my children!! Very friendly and helpful!! Very peaceful and kid friendly.

My stay at the Doral golf resort was a little less than immaculate. The resort in itself is very impressing from its greens to its 5 dining facilities. The rooms were impeccable as well as the service from housekeeping and room service was quick and delicouse ! This is resort is a world all on its own. Highly Recommend !( not mentioning I saw Charles Barkely walking around)
