Royal Hudson Steam Train (The)

Description

The Royal Hudson Steam Train was, until recently, the only antique steam engine in regular service in North America. It is currently on display in Squamish while the broiler receives repairs. The operators are working on the repairs of Royal Hudson to bring it up on tracks. Until then, come by to gaze at it as it is open for people to come and visit till it's back in service.

Royal Hudson Steam Train no longer in operation

Becauses of finances and high maintenance costs, the steam trail hasn't been running between North Vancouver and Squamish for several years now. Instead, it is on display at the Westcoast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish. However, they're hoping to raise enough money so that it'll be up and running again for the 2010 winter Olympics.
