This affordable hotel has just been renovated with business travelers in mind. Basic amenities include data ports, voice mail, speaker phones and refrigerators. Minutes from the airport and right on the light rail, the inn is within decent proximity of anything in downtown San Jose. The outside is currently being renovated and should be done by the end of the year. It is a comfortable and moderately priced full-service hotel.

Park Plaza had been a very pleasent stay. Walking from your room to the on site resturant was fabulous it was breezy and it made you feel as if you were in Hawaii with out being in Hawaii. It was nice the bar was great and the food was good to the taste. The service was pretty good during registration and at the resturant. They messed up on my order but the waiter offered to carry my food back to my room. I declined but it was a nice try. Housekeeping did not speak english so when trying to communicate with them for more towels they did not understand other wise we got a real good rate and a wonderful location with a beautiful view.

I JUST HAVE TO GIVE A COMMENT ABOUT A PARTICULAR HOTEL I BOOKED ON A WEB SITE RECENTLY. THEY TREATED ME AND MY CHILDREN TERRIBLY, AND IT MIGHT BE TO YOUR BENEFIT TO REMOVE THIS ESTABLISHMENT FROM YOUR HOTEL LIST.

WE STAYED AT THE PARK PLAZA HOTEL IN SAN JOSE ON 6/8/2004 TO 6/9/2004. THEIR TOILET OVERFLOWED DUE TO THEIR TOWEL TAG BEING IN THE TOILET TANK (I REMOVED IT, SO THE ROOM WOULD NOT BE COMPLETELY FLOODED), AND WITH COMPLETE RUDENESS, THE NEXT DAY THEY BLAMED MY CHILDREN AND I FOR THIS EVENT. I HAD TO CALL THE FRONT DESK 2 TIMES TO GET HELP, AND WAS MOVED LATE AT NIGHT TO ANOTHER ROOM BECAUSE THEY HAD NO ONE TO CLEAN UP THE WATER. THEY ALSO DEBITED MY CREDIT CARD FOR AN ADDITIONAL $50.00, JUST TO MAKE MATTERS WORSE, AND HAVE STILL TO THIS DAY NOT REFUNED THIS UNNECESSARY CHARGE.

I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS HOTEL TO ANYONE, YAHOO REALLY SHOULDN'T EITHER. I'M SURE ANYONE ELSE HAVING THIS EXPERIENCE WILL, LIKE ME, NEVER AGAIN USE THE INTERNET TO BOOK A HOTEL.
