The hotel staff is very courteous and friendly. The hotel runs a free shuttle to the downtown area (central business distric) every half of hour. The shuttle takes 10 minutes, but may be longer if traffic is heavier. Behind the hotel, there is a famous restaurant called "5". There is also an Italian restaurant located behind the hotel. Walk down the street, and you can find a wide variety of very cheap Oriental eating establishments. The cemetery located across the street is also a park. It was used as a cemetery in the mid to late 1800's. I never did figure out why some of the headstones were painted red. Part of the cemetery was for Jewish burials. The hotel has two restaurants. One is for fine dining, the other is casual dining. I have tried both, and they were very good. The rooms were very nice. \n \nBeing a converted Sheraton, there is a hotel within a hotel. So if you stay on the 9 or 10th floor, you have extra goodies. (ex. there is free Internet access, a lounge area where you can have breakfast or an afternoon snack. On occasion there is a cocktail hour included. ) \nWe liked this hotel
05 Jun 2005 | A Yahoo! UserThe Pool and the gym are great. Food is Divine. One of the worst locations you could have a hotel. No View or scenery and you are across the street from a cemetery!! It is worth staying there if you are planning on staying inside the hotel your entire trip!
