This may simply be the best, most luxurious and most expensive hotel in Amsterdam. Notable regular guests include celebrities such as Madonna, The Rolling Stones and Michael Jackson. Located next to the old city center, the hotel is beautifully situated on the banks of the Amstel and has a lovely riverside terrace, as well as a garden. The Carre Theatre is within walking distance, and all other theaters, museums, restaurants and clubs are within easy reach by tram, metro and (water) taxi.

very nice hotel

This is a great place to stay in Amsterdam. The location is great - next to a lot of cool sites and right on the river. The rooms are nice (nothing too special, but nice). The bathrobes are GREAT, though. It is close to the Bulldog Cafe, too.
