Tropical paradise

Smack dab in the center of the city, the Shangri-La offers paradise in the heart of it all. It's as close to paradise as you can get while still only steps away from the shopping & business district. Rooms are great yet the pool is the main draw. Multiple restaurant choices round out the hotel nicely.

A sister property is just a few miles away, on the island of Sentosa. Situated on the South China Sea, with its own private beach, the Shangri-La Hotel on Sentosa Island offers an escape from the business that brought you to Singapore to begin with. The outdoor main lobby, orchids on your laundry and drinks poolside all set the pace - pure relaxation.

Morning brunch offers asian and western foods alike, and the onsite restaurant choices appeal to many different tastes. One parting word of advice: keep an eye out for monitor lizards. They sometimes like to join you in the man-made lagoon and will give you the shock of your life when you see them swimming nearby!

You can't go wrong with either choice.
