Hotel Griffon is located off the Embarcadero and features unique architecture, first-class dining and many special amenities. The celebrated independent venue was named "the best of small hotels" by Travel & Leisure Magazine. Its downstairs restaurant, Red Herring, delivers room service during restaurant hours and a modern fitness facility is open to hotel guests. Cozy hotel by the bay

The Hotel Griffon is a cozy little hotel (by big city standards) that offers comfortable rooms slightly off the beaten path. It's a short distance from Market Street that combines the convenience of location with as little city noise as possible. If you're visiting San Francisco during any of the many large-scale gatherings, its location is ideal. There are a few good restaurants within walking distance (Red Herring is onsite), and the theater district is just a short cab ride away. Rooms are comfortable and include the now standard amenities (voicemail, mini bar, etc.)
