The High St, Oxford, 0X1 4BE, United Kingdom…
More and Maps
This hotel is next to the university examinations building, so a stay in early summer means you'll be perfectly positioned to witness at least one traditional Oxford event: the obligatory bottle of champagne over a student's head at the end of their final exams. The Eastgate is also close to Merton and Magdalen colleges, and the academic environment is reflected in the decor of the hotel bar and lounge. The hotel is popular with both business travellers and tourists, thanks mainly to its very central location.

Really great location. No A/C. But well appointed rooms. GREAT LOCATION - basically the same place as the Old Bank Hotel.
